Path To Mexico respects your privacy. Information submitted through this website may be used to respond to inquiries, provide relocation guidance, share requested resources, and improve our services.
Path To Mexico is operated by Kalen James Jakob Enns, based in Tulum, Quintana Roo, Mexico. That operator is responsible for the personal information described in this policy (the "data controller", where that term applies). Correspondence about this policy should be sent to pathtomexico@gmail.com.
We may collect your name, email address, phone number, current location, relocation timeline, and details you choose to share through forms or direct communication.
If you choose to save your My Mexico Blueprint, we also receive your first name, email address, your questionnaire answers, your calculated results (such as suggested destinations and your readiness score), your language preference, the time you submitted, and a random submission identifier that lets us connect your saved Blueprint to any follow-up conversation. Until you choose to save it, your Blueprint answers stay in your own browser and are not sent to us.
We use this information to save and provide your personalized Blueprint and — only with your consent — to email you relevant relocation guidance. We only send guidance emails if you have asked for them, for example by checking the consent box when saving your Blueprint. You can tell us to stop at any time, or ask us to remove the details you have shared, by contacting Path To Mexico directly.
Form submissions on this website — including saved Blueprints, contact requests, and guide downloads — are delivered and stored through Formspree, an independent form-processing service that handles them on our behalf under its own privacy policy. Saved Blueprints and partner applications are additionally stored in Path To Mexico's own secure database so we can review and respond to them.
If you apply to join the PTM Partner Network, we collect the business and professional information you provide in the application — including your name and business name, contact details, business address, RFC or tax identification number where you provide it, and professional credential or license details. This information is stored securely in Path To Mexico's database, is used only to review your application and to manage a resulting partner relationship, is never published on this website, and can be corrected or deleted at your request by contacting Path To Mexico directly.
Our own database is provided by Supabase, a hosted database and authentication service. It holds saved Blueprints, partner applications, and client portal records, and it handles client portal sign-in. This website is hosted by Vercel, which necessarily processes the technical information needed to deliver pages to your browser, such as your IP address.
If you are invited to the private client portal, we hold the email address you sign in with, the sign-in and invitation records needed to secure your account, and the information we maintain for you there — such as your plan status, next steps, appointments, and document records. Portal access is by invitation only, and each client can see only their own record.
Ask Path, the assistant on this website, is automated. When you send it a message, the conversation is sent to OpenAI, an independent AI provider, so that a reply can be generated. Our own server logs for Ask Path record your IP address and timing information — used to limit abuse — but not the content of your messages. The conversation is kept in your browser only for your current session. Please do not share sensitive information with Ask Path, such as identity document numbers, financial account details, medical records, or copies of documents. If you ask Ask Path to pass your details to a person, that request is sent through the same form service described above.
If online booking is offered and you choose to book a call, you may be taken to an external scheduling service to choose a time, and the details you enter there are handled by that service under its own terms and privacy policy. If you choose to message us on WhatsApp, your messages and phone number are handled by WhatsApp under its own terms and privacy policy. We receive what you send us through those services and use it to respond to you.
We do not sell personal information. Information may be shared only when necessary with trusted independent professionals if you request introductions or support.
This website uses Vercel Web Analytics, provided by our hosting provider Vercel, to understand how the site is used — for example which pages are visited, and how many people request a guide or complete a Blueprint. Vercel Web Analytics is cookieless: it does not set advertising or tracking cookies, does not store a persistent identifier in your browser, and is not used to build a profile of you or to follow you across other websites.
The measurement data is deliberately limited to non-identifying information: the page path you visited, the type of action taken, and a small set of fixed technical labels such as your language preference or a suggested destination. Your name, email address, phone number, Blueprint answers, anything you type into a form, and anything you ask our assistant are never included in analytics data. Page addresses are recorded without any query parameters, so details attached to a link cannot be captured either.
This website stores a small amount of information in your own browser so that it works the way you expect: your language preference; your My Mexico Blueprint answers and progress; your My Mexico Plan; a partner application draft, if you start one, until it is submitted; and your current Ask Path conversation, which is held only for the browser session. This information stays on your device unless you choose to submit it, and you can remove it at any time by clearing your browser's site data. We do not use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies. The only cookies this website sets are strictly necessary sign-in cookies, and only for people who sign in to the private client portal.
Path To Mexico serves people in many countries, and the service providers named in this policy operate internationally. Your information may therefore be processed in countries other than the one you live in, including countries whose data protection laws differ from your own.
How long we keep personal information: only as long as reasonably necessary for the purpose it was collected for. Inquiry and contact submissions and saved Blueprints are kept for up to 24 months after your last interaction with us, unless you become a client. Active client records are kept for the duration of the client relationship. Once an engagement or account has ended, its records are kept only as long as reasonably necessary for business, legal, accounting, security or dispute-resolution purposes. Documents uploaded to the client portal are deleted when they are no longer reasonably necessary for providing the service, subject to any legitimate legal or security reason to keep them. Requests to delete information are handled subject to any legal obligations that apply to us.
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to ask for access to the personal information we hold about you, to have it corrected or deleted, to object to or restrict certain uses, to withdraw consent you have given, and to complain to your local data protection authority. To make a request, or to ask any question about this policy, contact us at pathtomexico@gmail.com. We may need to confirm your identity before acting on a request.
We may update this policy from time to time; the date at the top of this page shows when it last changed.
